The band was founded by Richard Morales in Markham, Ontario.  They performed in private events, corporate non for profit events and Latino community events in Toronto and the York Region since 2008.Los Moralitos got into the festival scene at the Markham Village Music Festival in 2012.Their music is a fusion of traditional Latin rhythms, tropical background with the electric sounds of Santana’s rock.The band writes original music too. They play cumbias, Cuban Son or Salsa with an electric guitar leading the melodies. The result is a funky electric tropical sound that forces  crows to move their feet, a wavelength of happiness  entangles us, this is a unique and diverse Latino Canadian style.
